Can you tell us something about your background?
"For as long as I can remember, I have been working with people who have a distance to the job market. People who might just need a bit of a push to get back.
In one of the cooperations to help these people, we started a roastery. A roastery with a goal: utilize this great craft of roasting as a job-generator for these great people!
What makes you a Slow Roaster?
"I look for balance, capabilities, and boundries. What can someone achieve. Finding out, takes time. Not taking time for this process will only increase stress and insecurity.
We process our green beans, like we help our people.
We take time. We dont apply too much heat. We listen to their story. We make sure we know where they are in their development. We listen to make sure we stop our involvement in time for the bean to reach its perfect state on its own.
Afterwards we only need to be proud, and enjoy what we achieved"
